MARKETING PROBLEM: Sippican manufactured expendible oceanographic instrumentation for research organizations and the US Navy. They usually advertise in trade journals discussing the benefits of their products to purchasing agents. Now they wanted a corporate campaign for financial magazines to familiarize potential stockowners with an up and coming company.
SOLUTION: The legacy of particular scientists/navy personnel and adventurers during the late 19th century led to the very products that Sippican makes today. The stories were very compelling. Sippican was a client of Keegan, Hudson & Shansky, Inc.
